This is the beauty of the Chrome browser that you can search the stuffs directly from the URL bar of the Chrome. For that you just need to type the things in the address bar of Chrome and hit the enter button, your searched things will immediately appeared on the Google search. This is the default function of the Chrome browser. But sometimes you could not search the stuffs from the address bar of it.

Why Google chrome address bar search not working?

This is because when we used to install any third party software, without seeing the things we just clicked the next button appeared during the installation process so as to complete the installation fast as possible. In the mean time what happened, a third party search engine is installed (a check box is ticked by default to install the search engine with the software you are installing) and integrated with your Chrome browser by disabling the integration of Google with Chrome.  

How to Make Google Search enable in Chrome Address Bar

Follow the simple steps here to make the Google search again your default search engine in your Chrome browser.

1. Open the Chrome and go to the site www.google.com
2. Do right click on the search bar of Google and click on "Add as search engine" as given in picture below.

3. As you clicked on "Add as search engine" a different screen will appear as given in the picture below. 
4. Click OK.
5. Now go to Chrome settings (type chrome://settings/ on Chrome bar).
6. Under Search heading click on "Manage search engines" and in the next appeared screen find google.com and make it default and click on done.
