We can use Microsoft office OneNote to convert scanned PDF files to editable text as Optical characted recognition.





Find 'Clip' or 'Screen Clipping' on OneNote, it is inside "insert" tab or you can use the shortcut "Window+s"

It may appear in OneNote 2010 as:


Now select the pdf file you want to convert it to editable text. Drag the selected file or an image file to OneNote and right click on the picture and click on "Copy text from picture".


The copied optically recognized text will available into the clipboard and you can now paste it into notepad or word.
